Pheasant Hunt

A Day Outdoors. A Lasting Impact.

The Something for Alex Pheasant Hunt brings friends, families, and supporters together for a day in the field with a greater purpose: raising funds to meet meaningful needs in our community and beyond.

First held at White Creek Cattle Ranch in 2019, the Pheasant Hunt has become a special way to carry on Alex’s legacy by bringing people together around causes that make a real difference. Each hunt has supported a different need close to the heart of Something for Alex, from helping local families and supporting Donate Life Georgia to investing in the next generation through the Something for Alex Scholarship Fund.

Since that first hunt, the event has grown into more than a fundraiser. It is a day of fellowship, generosity, and community that reflects what Something for Alex is all about: seeing a need, showing up, and doing something to help.

Impact Through the Years

2019 | First Annual Pheasant Hunt
Our inaugural hunt raised $8,000 for the Anna Charles Hollis Fund.

2019 | Second Annual Pheasant Hunt
Proceeds supported Donate Life Georgia and the Dinger/Daniels family, helping extend the impact of the event to families and causes with meaningful stories of their own.

2023 | Third Annual Pheasant Hunt
After a two-year break, the hunt returned with proceeds benefiting the Something for Alex Scholarship Fund and helping us invest in deserving local students.
