Something for Alex and Heart Wood Products, LLC is incredibly grateful to have partnered with Briarwood Academy to honor the life of Ben! Ben was a passionate supporter of Briarwood, especially its football and basketball programs, and his impact on the school community continues to be felt.
In tribute to Ben, the school’s National Honor Society organized a canned food drive in his memory and the response was nothing short of amazing. On May 4, Taylor and Beth collected more than 15 boxes filled with canned goods, snacks and toiletries. (over 600 items)
To celebrate this incredible effort, Something for Alex awarded pizza parties to the three winning classes:
Elementary – 4th Grade
Middle – Mrs. Boyle’s 7th Grade Homeroom
High – Mrs. Chalker’s 10th Grade Homeroom
Thank you to every student, teacher, and supporter who contributed. Your generosity is a beautiful reflection of Ben’s spirit and the strength of the Briarwood community.
Something for waynesboro
Teaming up with Edmund Burke Academy for our inaugural "Something For" Drive, the Fellowship of Christian Students spearheaded the "Something for Waynesboro" initiative. In just one week, these incredible students gathered over 200 coats to keep our community warm. Honored to be part of this impactful drive!
